MTA Stream to launch, providing local TV content and streaming entertainment
MTA is poised to revolutionize delivery of streaming television content with the launch of ‘MTA Stream,’ a service that will allow customers to access their favorite local Alaska stations.
The company becomes the first to provide customers with local network streaming, and a cost-effective alternative to more expensive options such as DTV and cable television. The new product will cost consumers $24.99 monthly, with an initial $9.99 limited time promotional credit.
“MTA is focused on being a technology leader that provides our customer base with meaningful products that enhance their lives, while providing cost savings when possible,” said MTA CEO Michael Burke. “Our MTA Stream product will do just that, and give consumers the freedom to choose additional subscription packages that suit their lifestyle. It’s a game changer.”
MTA has prepared a tutorial for users that leads them through simple set-up instructions. “We have focused on ensuring this is an easy product for consumers to activate and use – and the ability to subscribe to build their own package of streaming services through our product, makes it simpler and easier for customers,” Burke said. “We’re excited about this new product.”
MTA has continued to be a technology leader in Alaska, and this latest product offering is a key part of the MTA mission to enhance the lives of Alaskans through technology innovation.
