Terms and Conditions for MTA Shield Offer

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY AND IN FULL. THEY CONTAIN CERTAIN CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS ON THE AVAILABILITY AND USE OF THE 2024 HOLIDAY MTA SHIELD OFFER, INCLUDING WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE CREDIT PERIOD ENDS.

Introduction.

This 2024 Holiday MTA Shield Offer (the “MTA Shield Offer” or “Offer”) is made available by MTA to eligible residential accounts, and the Internet Service Agreement and Website Terms of Use apply.

The Offer.

The 2024 Holiday MTA Shield Offer entitles all new MTA Shield customers to receive a credit to their bill for the corresponding MTA Shield service for twelve credit periods. All applicable internet service and internet installation fees still apply. Customers will receive a $10/month MTA Shield credit on their bill that can be applied against either SHLD_1 ($10.00/month) or SHLD_3 ($15.00/month). Unless a customer elects to discontinue their service sooner, the corresponding credit will cease after the twelfth credit period, and customers will then be billed the current monthly price for MTA Shield. Customers may cancel at any time.

This Offer must be claimed by close of business on February 28th, 2025. Offer cannot be transferred or altered and has no cash value. Offer can be combined with any other MTA discounts including but not limited to 1) Senior Citizen Discount, 2) Education Unlimited, 3) Business Partner, 4) Lifeline, 5.) totalWiFi Support Offer 6.) totalWiFi Move Offer.

By submitting your request with this Offer you accept and agree to these Offer Terms and Conditions and acknowledge and agree to the MTA Terms of Use. Other terms and conditions may apply.

Duration and Cancellation.

Offer must be claimed by close of business on February 28th, 2025. MTA reserves the right to refuse, modify or to earlier terminate this Offer at any time and for any reason. After such time, MTA shall not be obligated to redeem any further attempts to accept this Offer.

The MTA Shield credits will cease after twelve credit periods, or on the date of cancellation if the MTA Shield service is cancelled sooner. After the Credit Period ends, you will automatically be charged the then-current monthly price of MTA Shield, and the payment method you provided will automatically be charged that amount, unless you cancel prior to the end of the Credit Period.

You may cancel MTA Shield service at any time. If MTA Shield service is cancelled before the credit period ends, the remaining Shield credits will be forfeited, and customer cannot reclaim offer. To cancel, you must call (907-745-3211). If retail stores are open, you may visit one of our retail stores and cancel.

Eligibility.

This Offer is only available to new MTA Shield customers beginning December 1st, 2024 and ends on February 28th, 2025. Participants must keep their account paid current for all past and current charges and ensure that account information is accurate and up-to-date. Participants must not have had MTA Shield within the past 30 days. Participants also must have current residential internet service with MTA to be considered eligible for MTA Shield.
